Occupational Therapist

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (PRN).
Word Therapy – Lakewood Ranch, FL.

Word Therapy, a growing private speech, and occupational therapy practice in Lakewood Ranch, FL, is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis with potential for more as our caseload grows).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide evaluations and individualized therapy to children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other needs.
Develop and implement fun, engaging, and evidence-based treatment plans.
Work closely with parents and caregivers to provide education and home exercise strategies.
Collaborate with speech therapists and other professionals to support children’s progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

What We’re Looking For:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida.
Experience or strong interest in working with pediatrics.
Knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor development, and early intervention techniques.
Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for children.
